Mr. Medved joined SoftBank Capital in 2005. His responsibilities include evaluating and identifying new investment opportunities and monitoring current portfolio companies.

Mr. Medved has over eight years of experience in venture capital and investment banking. Prior to joining SoftBank Capital, he was an Associate with Constellation Ventures, a media and communications venture capital fund under Bear Stearns Asset Management. At Constellation, Mr. Medved covered investment opportunities in broadband and wireless content, communications technologies, digital programming services and interactive advertising.

Prior to Constellation Ventures, Mr. Medved was an Associate and Analyst for the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group with JPMorgan Investment Banking. At JPMorgan, Mr. Medved worked on M&A advisory, equity and debt transactions in the cable, emerging communications, publishing, wireless and wireline sectors.

Mr. Medved is Co-Chairman of the New England Venture Network (NEVN), the largest young venture capital organization on the East Coast. Under NEVN, Mr. Medved co-founded VentureNetwork.VC, the first social network built exclusively for the venture capital community.

Mr. Medved received a Bachelor of Science, with honors, from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll School of Management, and completed The General Course at the London School of Economics.
