Susanne M. Bowen

Executive In Residence

Ms. Bowen joined SoftBank Capital as an Executive in Residence (EIR) in 2008. As an EIR, Ms. Bowen helps SoftBank Capital evaluate and source investment opportunities while working with SoftBank Capital portfolio companies and searching for the next company to start and/or lead.

Ms. Bowen has over 25 years of sales and leadership experience accelerating growth and profitability in software, professional services and outsourcing companies. Most recently, she was the CEO of Nellymoser, Inc., a software company offering a comprehensive mobile services platform. Nellymoser provides its services in the SaaS model prominent in Ms. Bowen’s career.

Prior to Nellymoser, Ms. Bowen was the CEO of Webhire, Inc., a Lexington, Massachusetts based software company providing talent management solutions. Ms. Bowen was responsible for the development and execution of a growth strategy that improved Webhire’s market position and that resulted in a successful exit. Prior to joining Webhire, Ms. Bowen held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Services for Workscape, Inc., a leader in the Human Capital Management sector. During her tenure at Workscape, she was instrumental in achieving dramatic growth as the executive responsible for the strategy and execution of the sales, professional services and ASP operating plans. Previously, Ms. Bowen served as Senior Vice President for ENTEX Information Services, a desktop and network systems integrator specializing in outsourcing solutions where she ran an operation of over $530 million.

Ms. Bowen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
